The Sundarbans — Edge of the Wild

The Sundarbans is a world suspended between land and water, stretching across the border of India and Bangladesh, where mangroves breathe with the tides and the last wild Bengal tigers move like shadows : you wont see them but they will see you. It is a landscape shaped by danger, beauty, and balance — a place where people and wildlife live closer than they ever intended to, each dependent on the forest yet threatened by its decline.

Here, the boundary between survival and loss is thin. Rising seas, cyclones, and shrinking habitat push both communities and wildlife to the edge. These photographs capture the tension and the wonder of the Sundarbans: the strength of the mangroves, the lives intertwined with them, and the fragile wildness that still holds on.
