Shaped by the Mountains
In Kufstein and Wörgl, the mountains are part of everyday life. People gather to eat, to celebrate, to teach children how to move safely and confidently through snow and forest. Nature isn’t something separate — it’s shared, learned, and lived together.
Here, I met a woman with steady hands and a generous presence, guiding others with quiet strength. Through care, patience, and deep respect for the land, she helps create spaces where people feel grounded and safe. There is a deep appreciation for the mountains and forests here, not just for what they provide, but for the calm and clarity they offer.
These photographs capture quiet moments of connection — falling snow, shared meals, people close to one another. They reflect a culture shaped by place, where landscape, community, and healing are closely linked.
